May Confusion Dawn As Wisdom: The Four Dharmas of Gampopa
A Public Talk by Ringu Tulku Rinpoche, Thursday, Nov. 17, 2016, 7pm
The Four Dharmas of Gampopa are a spiritual aspiration, an overview of the entire Buddhist path, and a chart for the individual’s entire journey, from beginning one’s spiritual practice through to transforming confusion into enlightened wisdom. The Four Dharmas encapsulate in a potent summary all the profound and powerful teachings and skillful means provided by Mayahana Buddhism, the vehicle of wisdom and compassion.
The Four Dharmas of Gampopa are:
Grant your blessings so that my mind may be one with the dharma
Grant your blessings so that dharma may progress along the path
Grant your blessings so that the path may clarify confusion
Grant your blessings so that confusion may dawn as wisdom
